Any situation where AC failure creates a health, safety, or significant financial risk: liveaboards in summer heat (cabin temps can exceed 130°F), charter boats with paying guests, vessels with elderly passengers or pets, boats where AC failure is causing moisture/mold damage to electronics or interior, and any vessel where the crew cannot safely remain aboard without cooling.

Emergency/after-hours rate is $220/hr plus parts. Standard business hours rate is lower. Most emergency AC repairs (flush, impeller, thermostat) are resolved in 1-3 hours. We always give you a cost estimate before starting work — no surprises. For major repairs (compressor replacement), we'll diagnose the issue and schedule the repair for the next available slot.
